Researching Jeremiah HECOX, b. 1826 Hancock Co., IL, married Sarah HARRIS on 19 Fen 1861, in either Hanock Co. or Adams Co., IL. Sarah b. 15 Dec 1842 in ?Adams Co., IL to Solomon HARRIS and Lucinda BARKER. Jeremiah was a farmer in IL and in about 1867 he moved his family to Allen Co., KS settling on 80 acres "six miles northwest of Iola". Jeremiah HECOX is said to have died on 22 April 1883 and his wife, Sarah (HARRIS) HECOX on 17 May 1922. Their children were;

Nancy Jane, b. bef. 1863 IL, m. Samuel MALCOME, d. 1925 Iola
Alfred Harris, b. ?1863 or 1869, m. Josie RHODABARGER 1889 in Woodson Co., KS, d. 1961 in Iola.
John William, b. 1865 IL, m. Jenny Eveline OSHEL 1887, d. 1920 Hooker, TX
Frank Edwin, b. abt. 1879 KS, m. #1 Ollie THORNTON, m. #2 Sarah Bell (MINNICH) BLACK in 1922 Iola

Is this family familiar to anyone? Looking to fill in some of the missing pieces of information and also looking for descendants of this family.
